On Wednesday my class and room 7 went to Castor bay for EOTC. You do a lot of water activities, when we arrived I saw some beautifully shiny kayaks but I had to wait until after morning tea to do it.

First of all Owen taught us how to kayak and what to do because some people didn't know how to kayak.

I put on my big, fat life jacket and went inside the long kayak and paddled into the sea. I saw the wonderful sea. I heard a kid screaming out loud after falling in the water.I smelt fish, I felt the hard paddles,I tasted my own salty face,I thought of going out to the deep sea,I did some smiling,I felt proud of myself on a kayak and I said Yay i'm finally on a kayak.
